Community — that’s what it’s all about. On Saturday, Oct. 9, Alamar joined forces with Brookfield Residential and the city of Avondale to bring the Farmers Market Festival to life. The second annual celebration was also an opportunity to commemorate Avondale’s 75th anniversary milestone.

From morning ‘til afternoon, Hay Moon Park was filled with vivacious music, steamin’ food trucks, local vendors, and most importantly, family and friends. Attendees engaged in drum circle activities provided by Sankofa Island Magic and experienced Jungle Jill’s reptiles up close and personal. Booths were lined with a plethora of organic produce, handmade goods, and arts and crafts.
