Meet the neighbors

We — your Alamar Community Life team — had the opportunity to interview some of our very first residents on their Alamar porches. Get to know Christine Phillips, Rick DeFranco, Jennifer Valenzuela, and Angel Gironin.

Jennifer Valenzuela & Angel Giron

Jennifer and Angel (on left in ph0to above) are both raised Arizonians looking forward to building community and being close to their loved ones while living in Alamar.

They both love traveling and agree that one of their favorite trips together has been to Oaxaca, Mexico. They say the food, people, art, architecture, and culture are unmatched.

When they’re not traveling, camping, or backpacking, Jennifer and Angel love relaxing in their new home with their family. Next time you see the two enjoying Alamar’s amenities, don’t forget to introduce yourself.

Christine Phillips & Rick DeFranco

Originally from Montana and upstate New York, Christine and Rick (on right in photo above) ventured to Arizona to be a part of a new community. An avid golfer (and ahem, six-time women’s champ at their previous local course), it was important for Christine to be near a golf course. Rick enjoys writing blogs and woodworking in his free time.

The two can’t wait to break out their hiking boots and hit the Estrella Mountain trails. Be sure to say hello next time you run into them at a community event.
