Alamar’s bravest residents faced the cold 53 degree water, at the second annual Polar Plunge. Participants were met with even colder temperatures when they stepped out of the water, but warmed up post-dip with hot chocolate by the fire.
An Alamar blanket and special keepsake was given to each swimmer to commemorate their accomplishment.

Despite the cold, swimmers maintained impressive momentum across Hay Moon Pool. Their speed, whether to warm up quickly or to showcase their swimming talent, left spectators in awe.
