Your voice matters

In July, we — your Alamar Community Life team — sent residents a survey to request feedback about their level of satisfaction with community engagement, operations and communications. Your answers will be used to develop a strategic plan in collaboration with your Board of Directors.

Your input helps us further our mission to cultivate relationships that inspire people to find purpose, live authentically, and thrive together in Alamar. Read through the survey highlights below to learn what you and 105 of your neighbors believe are essential elements to be a thriving community.

Strategic plan says

We hear you

These are a few items your Alamar Community Life team and Board of Directors will consider implementing in the coming year.

  • Formalize a new neighbor welcome program with resident volunteer park ambassadors.
  • Host mixers where interested residents will learn more about the warm welcome program.
  • Subsidize park neighborhood gatherings so residents can come together conveniently.
  • Reallocate funds from signature events to smaller park gatherings
  • Research option to purchase a party trailer that residents can reserve for social events
  • Increase e-mail frequency to weekly and focus on education around what makes a community like Alamar unique
  • Consider social media presence
  • Update website often with resident features and interest blogs.
  • Create a community map and add signage throughout the community.
