Meet Melissa Villalobos

Melissa Villalobos, our community coordinator, wears many hats around Alamar, and we are so grateful for her dedication and expertise. She heads up everything from resident registration to design review, events and activities to Brivo access (just to name a few). She’s our neighborhood’s go-to when it comes to making sure each resident has what they need to stay connected and build community.

Melissa is also an Alamar homeowner, which gives her the unique viewpoint of both employee and resident. This dual perspective comes in handy when Melissa’s communicating with residents about what it means to live in a master-planned community and the guidelines that come with it. As Alamar continues to grow, Melissa values every chance she gets to build relationships with her neighbors.

While she now calls State 48 her home, she’s originally from Staten Island, New York. Melissa and her husband have been married for 11 years and are the proud parents of five boys ranging in age from 17 to 30, plus four fur babies and two reptiles. They’ll soon be adding a grandbaby to their brood, and while they’re simply hoping for a healthy and happy bundle of joy, they may or may not be keeping their fingers crossed for a baby girl.

You can find Melissa spending her free time with her family and unwinding with a movie or TV show that’s based on a true story. She and her husband love to cook together and they make a pretty great team: he smokes the meat, and she preps the sides. Her husband comes from a big family so they gather whenever they can to fire up the grill, play dominoes, and make everlasting memories. When it comes to music, Melissa’s sure to turn up the volume for Colbie Caillat’s “Bubbly.” And movies? “Dirty Dancing” is her top pick.

Family is important to Melissa, who is a self-described “momma’s girl.” She cherishes every memory she has of time spent with her mom and knows her beloved “momma” would be so proud of how far she’s come and the family she’s built.

If you haven’t met Melissa yet, we hope you get a chance to get to know her in person, or you can drop her a line any time at mvillalobos@coherelife.com.
